Simple sophistication. That would be the short description of the Maurice Lacroix’s Les Classiques Date watch.
Simplicity is delivered by three hands, one date. Sophistication is granted by the distilled creation of the handsome Les Classiques Date. Each element has been the subject of prolonged consideration. In several instances seemingly small details when viewed in isolation, actually influence the whole appearance of the chosen model when combined.
The 38mm case diameter is restrained in character exhibiting decorum and avoiding excessive flamboyance. Glancing at the rear of the case, the wearer is reminded of the fine Swiss automatic Calibre ML115/ML155 that beats within (ML155 on gold execution). The rhodium-plated movement is traditionally decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève motif.
The model has received subtle changes to its appearance, enhancing the aesthetics with a selection of new steel models as well as three new models presented in pink gold (4N). The new bezel design is stepped, highly polished on its upper surface and circular brushed on the lower flanks. The intricate profile of the bezel produces charming areas of light and shade enhancing the luxurious feel of the timepiece. A similar effect is achieved by harmoniously blending the same two surface treatments to the caseband.
