Cadillac unveiled two European premieres at the Geneva Motor Show: The Cadillac ATS-V that will be offered both in sedan and coupe forms as well as the third generation CTS-V, the most powerful model in the Cadillac’s 112-year history.
The Cadillac ATS-V is the first Cadillac to feature a twin-turbo engine with more than 450 PS and over 600 Nm. It can hit 100 km/h in close to 4 seconds and will reach a top speed of 299 km/h. The Cadillac ATS-V features higher rate springs, a third-generation Magnetic Ride Control and Performance Traction Management, offering five driver-selectable, distinct and increasingly more focused modes including a competition-level setting for stability and traction control.
Exceptional braking performance is handled by multi-piston Brembo calipers front and rear. An eight speed paddle shift automatic transmission with launch control completes the package. Both sedan and coupe feature a carbon-fiber hood with improved cooling, front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, all designed to work together to ensure the Cadillac ATS-V remains as stable at speeds of more than 250 km/h as it is at 80 km/h.
The interior features Recaro designed special 16-way adjustable seats covered in beautiful hand stitched leather, while a three-window TFT instrument cluster gives the drivers all the information they need and full Bluetooth integration with Cadillac’s CUE entertainment system allows the pilot to keep focused. In Germany, Cadillac ATS-V Sedan will be priced from € 74.900 and the Coupe from € 77.500.
The Cadillac CTS-V will arrive on European shores in early 2016. The new supercharged 6.2L V8 engine endows the Cadillac CTS-V with over 640 PS and more than 850 Nm of torque, enough to see it pass the 100 km/h mark in under 4 seconds before closing in on an estimated top speed of 320 km/h. Cadillac CTS-V features third generation Magnetic Ride Control with 40% quicker responses, huge Brembo discs front and rear clamped by massive multi-piston calipers, uprated springs and anti-roll.
In addition to the supercar level of performance, the new Cadillac CTS-V also offers the highest levels of premium comfort with the 20 way semi-aniline leather covered, heated and ventilated seats, a fully configurable head up display and a top of the line Bose surround sound audio system with Bluetooth and wireless charging.
