Jersey Boys Film in Movie Theatres

The film version of the Tony Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys” tells the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic rock group The Four Seasons. The story of their trials and triumphs are accompanied by the songs that influenced a generation, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Dawn,” “Rag Doll,” “Bye Bye Baby,” “Who Loves You,” and many more.

Gone with the Wind Exhibition at the Atlanta History Center

In recognition of the 75th Anniversary of the premiere of Gone With the Wind, the Atlanta History Center presents Wilbur G. Kurtz: History in Gone With the Wind, a new exhibition revealing Kurtz’s influence as the film’s historian and technical advisor. Kurtz’s role in Hollywood was to guarantee the historical accuracy of the film’s depiction of Atlanta, Tara, and the Civil War and Reconstruction eras.
