Cessna debuted its new Cessna Citation Longitude business jet at NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas. Setting a new standard in the super-midsize category, the Cessna Citation Longitude is the company’s latest innovation as it continues to invest in its family of larger business jets.
Boeing Business Jets announced orders for four new BBJ MAX 8 airplanes at the National Business Aviation Association Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas. The first order to an undisclosed customer based in the Middle East is for three BBJ MAX 8s. The second order for an undisclosed customer in Asia is for one BBJ MAX 8.
The BBJ MAX 9 sale marks the fifth BBJ MAX order. Boeing has previously booked four orders for the BBJ MAX 8 model. Boeing Business Jets offers a wide variety of ultra-large-cabin, long range airplanes perfectly suited for the private jet market. The product line includes the BBJ and BBJ MAX family as well as Boeing widebody airplanes including the BBJ 787, 777, and 747-8.
Bombardier has delivered its first Learjet 75 aircraft to an undisclosed customer in Poland following certification by the authorities of the country’s Civil Aviation Authority. The Learjet 75 aircraft offers improved comfort and styling of the seats, a cabin management system featuring individual touchscreen monitors with full audio and video control.
Gulfstream G650ER recently set two city-pair records while flying around the world in one stop. The Gulfstream G650ER took off from White Plains, New York, with three passengers and four crew members on board. It flew 6,939 nautical miles/12,851 kilometers eastbound to Beijing at an average speed of Mach 0.87 for a total flight time of 13 hours and 20 minutes.
Qatar Airways corporate jet fleet, Qatar Executive, will add an all-Premium Class Airbus A319 to its growing jet fleet. The Premium One A319 will be available for charter starting 17 February through the Qatar Executive.

NetJets Europe announced it has successfully obtained certification to operate its Signature Series Phenom 300 light aircraft at London City Airport. Over 53 percent of NetJets’ European customer base comes from the London finance sector – with private equity and hedge fund management seeing the most growth over the past twelve months.
Cessna Citation X+ and Cessna Citation Sovereign+ models are on track to gain certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in early 2015. The Cessna Citation X+ has seating for up to 12 passengers, a maximum operating altitude of 51,000 feet (15,545 meters), an unmatched maximum speed of Mach 0.935, and an increased range of 3,408 nautical miles.
