M/Y Azamanta is a 55m Fast Displacement steel-hulled yacht

Azamanta, whose Fast Displacement Hull Form was developed by Van Oossanen in collaboration with Heesen Yachts in-house naval architects, exceeded the contractual speed by 0.4 knots, reaching a top speed of 16.9 knots. Propelling around 600 tonnes of steel and aluminium at 15 knots with only 1650kW of power, the yacht has proved to be a benchmark in terms of efficiency.

Heesen Yacht unveiled new Project Nova

Heesen Yachts have unveiled their new 50m Fast Displacement, full-aluminium motoryacht: YN 17850 Project Nova. Following the success of 65m Galactica Star, the world’s first yacht with a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), this new 50m motoryacht offers the same superlative levels of performance, efficiency and luxurious comfort in a smaller design package of under 500 GT.

MySky – 51m luxury yacht built by Heesen

The bold but sleek exterior of the MySky luxury yacht comes from the pen of Frank Laupman of Omega Architects: Flush-mounted tinted windows thermobonded to the superstructure create a continuous wall of glass that gives this vessel a highly distinctive look. The owners appointed world-renowned architect Erick van Egeraat to design the ultracontemporary, sharp and sophisticated interior.

Heesen Yachts sold the Project Margarita yacht

Heesen Yachts have sold the YN 16847, Project Margarita, which is the first of the newly styled vessels in the 47-metre class, a breed of Heesens that are icons of classic contemporary yacht design. Frank Laupman has created the timeless design of YN 16847, a vessel that exudes luxury and elegance in every detail.

Heesen Yachts launched the new M/Y Monaco Wolf

Heesen Yachts announced that YN 16650 was launched on March 28th, 2014. During the private ceremony the owner christened this splendid vessel M/Y Monaco Wolf. The highly distinctive flowing lines of the M/Y Monaco Wolf were designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and embody the Heesen family look and feel with its iconic reverse sheer ‘pelican beak’ bow. The design is enhanced by particular attention to the lighting systems throughout the yacht.
